ROUTINE!!!!!

Penny for your thoughts??? I Can't believe this class is over =[... I can say though i did learn a MUCHO MAS (much more) than some of my other classes...
With the penny project i feel i love with finding pennies but not scanning them.... i felt as though someone wanted me to die of boredom....if that's even possible =/

Routine article

When reading the article, I thought that Chris was a very committed because I, today would not be able to accomplish such a daily routine. Second I also realized that this must be soooooo relaxing compared to retail therapy my output that I wish could be done daily

I really enjoy also the pieces that he made... they are so beautiful

TuEsDaY!!!!! WAGNER!!!

So .....I went to the Wagner...and you're not suppose to take pictures but these happen to just walk out the building with me =] HE HE it feels so good to be evil!!!!!!!....
JK... i didn't know until the lady working their yelled at someone else =] but the Wagner was a cool museum to be in although the categorized everything in such weird ways....oh Darwin....you Shouldn't  have ....but no you really should have, some of your reasons for grouping together were mere observations my friend...but it's ok others have your back on this one....
This was my second time at the Wagner and i am truly a freak for rocks....I hate what Diamonds stand for , but i love their process of creation, so this is the section that i stood around the most.

Tuesday Lecture!!!! Ben Volta

this is Ben Volta... and he's an artist

MOST of his work requires 2 things

1. ..... a process of information depending on topic , ideas, layout, etc

2. .... other people =]!!!!!

yes most of Volta's work is collaborative and yes even he has questioned himself on how does he create "his" work if other are doing it with / for him

 Well. .....Volta works with teenagers in school and they use subject such as their neighborhoods and math in order to create their work.

Here the Teens are brainstorming ideas about images that they thought reminded themselves of home.... and thus making these beautiful patterns which would be rooms in the home

In class..... he taught geometric projects and then had the kids build structures based off of them

I do believe that what Volta does it art....even if others are help, he's building community, friendships and skills ...that's still art in my book

Waking life

I really enjoyed all of the art work in this film and also the topic of what the characters were saying... i might just rent this moving as a program in my hall...
some of the characters seem very familiar (male in top picture) while the artist made others seem crazy...
I really ever wondered if I've had a dream this crazy, I rarely ever have dreams that are remembered but when they are , they're mostly weird
I felt as though I was watching an animation of Inception minus the action... guns and what not for the main character was always waking up but was still dreaming and even when the movie was over... he drifted away... so confused

I MISS ILLUSTRATOR.... don't get me wrong ... I enjoy this picture, but I really REALLY miss my pen tool... and i was very tempte to use it but I know that I couldn't ...I do love Photoshop, but I guess i just need more practice =/

John H. Thompson Lecture

 
At this lecture we learned about how a studio space is also a personal space. Whenever he talked I felt as though John is still a kid at heart. his lecture was a little mono-toned, but some of the projects that he's done were amazing

 

What I really took from this lecture was that your studio space should be a place were you always work, even if you're not producing for  commission , just continued to think and create

Yes Andy Warhol's real name is Andrew Warhola,  born in August 6 1928....watch out...he's a LEO roar!!!

Andy was born in Pittsburgh, Pa  and did more than just pop art... he was a painter,printmaker, filmmaker , and commercial illustrator....He was a great contribute to the modern and pop art movement

THis painting happens to be my inspiration and favorite , because it's my favorite singer in the world R.I.P. MJ 

this is probably one of his most famous paintings of the lady herself MONROE.

I can't wait to see what my picture is going to look like =]

2 weeks ago...... tuesday lecture

OK ...so last week we learned about classes and how to pick them... and that's something that I already know (ha being here for THREE years and what not)
....Anyway, I actually learned some short cuts for how to pick classes and how to see if seats are open for another class.
ANoTher thing....I panicked about my schedule because I thought that I had 20 credits worth of classes and I didn't so I dropped a class anyway and now my life is infinitely better.
awww... I feel (some not all) weight being lifted off of me...I can't wait for next year to come =]
